Tucson Gem Show

Picture of Tucson from TGMS
Yesterday I did not post, although I had a verse all ready in the morning. I got a bit sidetracked, and I have no idea how or where I went or when or what happened, but I know I didn't post yesterday...maybe not even the day before!! (Gasp) I will check.

Yesterday my sister and I went to take a look at the Tucson Gem Festival. I have never been and I looked around a bit at the glitz and glamour, (kind of surprising in Tucson's humble surroundings) and I knew it wasn't really to my liking. I liked adventuring over to Cafe Desta afterwards with my sis Megan, and enjoying some African tea along with a lovely sighting of my Favorite Tucson Man: I have called him Adam.

I have seen him once before, and never again, while at a coffee shop in town called Caffe Luce. I couldn't bring myself to look at him in the eye for very long, he was talking to a friend while on his computer on the outside terrace of the shop. I was sitting there learning french on my iPhone because I couldn't bring myself to look at him, while waiting for my friend, Celeste.

We chatted for awhile and he got up and left about 3/4 of the way through our conversation, and ever since I have been sort of wishing to spot him there. Alas, it has not been so, until yesterday. He walked out with a girl in a dress, blonde hair, glasses, the hippie type, and he had his long, brown hair in a bun of sorts, with his scruff evident on his chin. I showed him to Megan and she immediately was saying how I should go take a walk around for a few minutes. I of course shied away from this idea.

Cafe Desta, 5 Market where FTM came from, and Megan,
a wall art thingy of a guy in downtown Tucson too.
A few minutes later as the girl and her evident boyfriend who had emerged from the shop next to us left, and Adam My Favorite Tucson Man (so far) walked across the street to sit and talk on his phone. I got up and walked out front to "take a picture of the front of the building" and went back inside without any confrontation.

I am grateful for such small adventures.

Afterwards we went to a small gem shop called Bead Holiday and bought a couple things for a necklace my sister, a crafty fiend, is making for me. I cannot wait for it.
