Beginning a Journey

This blog is about separation of church and state, of mind and matter, of world and culture vs. inner turmoil and personal space. This blog is hopefully the beginning of a real, solid statement about what I see in the world, and what I feel inside.

This is for me to connect, react, judge, refurbish my inner environment, and hopefully use what I have learned or experienced by releasing it into the world. I don't expect it to be perfect, I expect it to be a messy, ugly, beautiful experiment, and let me just say this: I want it to be Einstein, Alexander Fleming, Margaret Bourke-White, Betsie G, Tavi Gevinson, and many more. Here is the beginning of my journey into all things I want to discover.

I want to cook a meal of information here, and simmer it to perfect harmony, like a chef in France would to become the King of Pastry. My goal is to learn about myself as a writer, learn about the world and all the avenues I want to meld together ideas like forging gold and silver as one, to escape from my hectic mind into my grounded, steady, efficient mind. I want to experience and experiment and fail and succeed right here, for myself and for anyone who wants to come along for the ride. Here's to us, I tip my Strawberry Kombucha glass to you, and away we go.

Here is a picture of Margaret Bourke-White, the first female photojournalist allowed on the frontlines. I want to play her, be her, channel this part of her, so as to connect with something of history, to become a better version of myself by melding that vision she had with what I see and am today. I want to grab the reigns and gallop off into the coming doom because I see the hope and promise of a brighter day.
